Serves 4
Ingredients:
8 oz. cream cheese, room temp
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tsp lemon juice
½ cup berries, sliced
Phyllo dough, 12 sheets cut in half
Butter, 4 oz, melted
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the cream cheese, maple syrup & lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
Take a half sheet of dough, brush with melted butter, fold in half along the long side, brush with butter again. Place about a tbsp of cream cheese mixture at the top corner and top with a couple slices of berries. Fold over to form a triangle, then continue to fold triangles until you get to the bottom of the dough. Brush the outside with butter and place on a parchment lined sheet pan.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until brown and crispy. Let cool then serve.
