When I was a kid I remember my Dad taking me to a diner in NYC one afternoon. After a long day of walking around the city he was probably tired and it was a cold so we ducked into this random joint. When the waitress came and asked for our order he asked me if I wanted Hot Chocolate. That seemed so special and grown up. It had whipped cream and was delicious. I've been chasing that Hot Chocolate my whole life. So here is my own version, a Malted Milk Hot Chocolate. Give it a try, share it with your family and create your own memories.
Malted Hot Cocoa
malted mik powder, dutch process cocoa, confectioner's sugar, corn starch, salt

Per serving -
Heat 1 cup of milk and mix 1/4 cup of mix with 1/4 cup hot milk. Stir to combine and then add the remaining milk, stirring again.
By the way, if you haeve an espresso machine with a steam wand this is a great way to heat your milk for hot chocolate!
